Vibe Therapy Discover Silicone Double Dong review

I have been kindly sent the Discover Silicone Double Dong by Vibe Therapy to review on behalf of Heavenly Toys UK.

The packaging for this toy is simple, it comes in a long white box with see-through windows that display parts of the dong.  There are splashes of color around the box which portrays Vibe Therapy‘s signature style. The front of the box only displays the company’s name and the toy’s branded name.  The back of the box is pink with a miniature outline of the double dong & it’s measurements.    It’s pretty basic for a product package, it does tell you that this sex toy is made from 100% medically graded silicone.  The only issue I do have with the packaging’s box is that it is flimsy, it is very easy to squish the box.

Taking the dong out of it’s box, it felt very smooth to the touch.  I was instantly attracted to it’s ridged that run around the shaft from top to bottom.  The purple coloration of this toy is pleasing to the eye too.  I’m not a keen fan on ‘pink’ toys but blues and purples are more my thing.   Around the middle center of the shaft, there is a ring which I would assume, would be the indicator of the 50/50 share of this toy.

It is easy to bend but it’s not smooth, it feels awkward if I’m honest and I instantly thought that it might feel uncomfortable when inserted inside me.

There are no sharp edges to this product, it is smooth throughout.  Both ends are rounded and the silicone gives it a nice looking finish.  It is matted, not a shiny finish to it.

As this product is 100% medically graded silicone, only use a water-based lubricant, as a silicone based lubricant will only ruin this sex toy.  My personal recommendations for a water-based lube would be either the Super Slik Lube (£5.15) or Loving Joy’s Slid lube (£4.48)

As this toy is a dildo, it is waterproof and it is also non-porous.  Both of these aspects, makes this a toy which is easy to clean.  Either use hot soapy water or a toy cleaner such as the Toy Joy – Toy cleaner, which you can pick up for £10.41 GBP via the Heavenly Toy’s UK website (click here).

When this product arrived, it was packed securely with bubble wrapping and addressed discreetly, which I like to see with any adult product retailer.  I think it’s safe to say that no one wants their neighbors or postman, to see what goodies are being delivered.

I tried using this dong on it’s on, at first.  I could feel the ridges around the shaft, it was quite an amazing feeling.  Personally, I found that I had to use a bit of lube to get started but once I found an even lubricant level, all systems were go.

I did venture out with using this with another woman, it’s the first time I’ve used a double dong with anyone and it was an ‘experience’.  This toy isn’t for the faint hearted, as we found that you needed good muscles strength in your legs and lower body, to feel any decent effect that this toy had to offer.   We had fun but both felt that it was a little hard going when in use.  When I say that, I mean in the toy’s movement, it really did feel awkward inside me if it had to be bent.

For it’s design and feeling, this double dong is a nice play about but it just didn’t hit my spot, where I wanted it too.  That’s not to say it wouldn’t work for others but it just isn’t a toy that I’d be picking back up any time soon.

Now, saying that, I did find that this double dong made a perfect anal sex toy.  The length of it made it easy to use on a guy, during intercourse.  This could also be turned around and be used anally, with ease, on yourself.

For the pricing, I think an RRP of £30.00 GBP is a little too much, I would prefer to see this toy around the £20.00 mark.  Although it is made from 100% medically graded silicone, it does have the slight downfall of not being flexible enough to feel comfortable, whilst in use.
